The list below describes what fruits, vegetables, and herbs we carry on a regular basis, but selections will vary according to season. Some items may be temporarily unavailable. Please call or fax us for the current list (phone: 831.423.1020 and fax: 831.423.8026).

If there are varieties that you are particularly interested in having us carry, or you’d like help finding something unusual, just let us know. We hope to expand our selection, especially with rare and heirloom varieties, based on customer requests.

Anna

A low-chill red apple (200 hours) from Israel. Good cooking and eating apple. Needs Golden Dorsett for best pollination.

Golden Delicious

Popular fresh-eating apple, discovered in West Virginia.

Dorsett Golden

A low-chill golden apple with crisp flesh and sweet-tart flavor. Gets best pollination with Anna apple.

Fuji

This late-season apple was introduced from Japan and has quickly become a favorite for fresh eating. Crisp, juicy, and sweet. Excellent pollinator for other apples. Self-fruitful.

Red Fuji

This Fuji sport produces a brighter red skin, but has other qualities of the Fuji. Excellent keeper. Good pollinator of other varieties.

Gala

Crisp, sweet, dessert apple from New Zealand. Self-fruitful.

Red Gravenstein

A great apple for sauce, cider, and baking. Needs another apple variety for pollination.

Mutsu, Crispin

An apple of Japanese heritage (renamed Crispin in the ‘80’s). Excellent eating and baking apple. Late season. Pollinate with Fuji or Gala.

Pink Lady

Late season apple, resists browning, and likes hot climates. Crisp with sweet-tart flavor. Self-fruitful

Apple, Espalier

Various

Espaliered apples make excellent fences or can be grown against walls in tight spaces. Requires regular pruning to keep shape. Follow pollination based on type of apple.
